Tom45 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Share Posted November 27, 2006 Running Retrospect Pro 7.5 on Windows XP I get about 115 mb/min backup speed to a scsi VXA-2 drive. When I first got this drive, the speed was more like 300, but something happened and now it is always under 120. Backups to a USB connected hard drive are well over 500 mb/min. So the computer and Retrospect are capable of going faster. Any ideas of how to track this down? Scsi adapter is Adaptec 39160. Processor is 3.4GHz Pentium D with 4GB memory.
