Viking68 Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 I am having difficulty in selecting the folders I want to back up from my PC hard drive to an external drive. I initially used the Retrospect Wizard which allowed me select to the folders I wanted, when I selected backup, Retrospect began backing up my entire hard drive and not the selected folders. Is there a file or guide to describe how to do a simple backup of hard drive selected folders to an external drive ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Make sure the selected folders are displayed at the Backup Summary window when using the backup wizard.(the last window before backing up) 2. Or you can switch to the "Advanced mode" to define your specific folders, and then use the preview function to see what is going to be backed up.
