Problem saving scripts - reinstalling retrospect

Recommended Posts

G'Day there.

I'm using Retrospect 6.1.126, and have just reinstalled it onto my new hard drive.

I copied the /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Retrospect folder before I reinstalled the software.

Since reinstalling, I've placed the abovementioned folder back in its original spot (over-writing the new one) - but my scripts are still not appearing in the scripts window. It says that the scripts do not exist.

Any suggestions?

Oops, wrong folder!

What you wanted was /Library/Preferences/Retrospect (i.e., the root level Library folder), since Retrospect runs as root. The relevant file is called Retro.Config (6.0).

If you didn't back up this folder and if you don't still have access to your old volume, you'll need to recreate your scripts and lists.
