Toranaga1866 Posted November 17, 2006 Report Share Posted November 17, 2006 When I first installed Retrospect 7.5 Multi Server I had no trouble with my tape drive, but now a month and several "hot-fixes" later whenever I attempt to do a long erase or snapshot transfer to my tape drive I get the "Bad media, dirty heads, etc." error and having thoroughly tested many different methods in an attempt to correct this; I'm beginning to think that one of the so called "hot-fixes" broke it and would now like to backtrack to my original version of Retrospect 7.5 without the "hot-fixes". What do you think would be the best way to go about doing this so that I don't lose the record of the months of backups, the backup sets, list of clients, etc. ??? Thanks!
