vks Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 What is the best way to copy a backup snapshot from an external hd to a dvd drive? Retrospect does not work with my dvd drive. michaeln Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 Hi, The DVD drive needs to be supported in order to copy the snapshot from the external hd. How does Retrospect not work with your DVD drive? Can you see the DVD drive under Configure > Volumes? If it is not supported and a driver isn't being loaded, have you tried Configuring the drive? If you can get the DVD drive to work with Retrospect 7.5, you can go to "Tools > Transfer Snapshots" and select the Disk Backup Set as the source and your CD/DVD Backup Set as the destination to copy the snapshot.
