pwnell
I have the latest Mac Pro Quad Xeon machine. The DVD is a Sony DW-D150A. The system says it is not configured, so when I try and configure it with DVD+R or DVD-RW media it just says "Checking write compatibility" and stays there - CPU runs at 20% but no other activity. I have a HUGE DVD library and cannot afford Retrospect not to append to that backup set. What can I do? All latest versions of Retrospect and Driver Update as of this post. Mac OS X 10.4.8. Mocker
Looks like that drive isnt supproted yet: http://www.emcinsignia.com/supportupdates/technical/retrospect/search/?q=DW-D150A Theres not real troubleshooting that can be done with unsupported drives. Which drive did you use to write the existing backup set that you have and would you be able to use it with your current setup?
