Multiple scripts always want to use the same source volumes

I created 2 scripts, with the idea that each script would back up different source files on my laptop (backing up onto an Iomega drive).

However, when I create the scripts, it appears that I can't have one script with one set of files, and a second script with another file directory. The two scripts must both have the same files, or they don't run.

I tried deleting one of the files from one of the scripts, but that deletes that file from BOTH scripts!

 

I've read the entire documentation, and this is not discussed. Tech Support by phone said they won't help me unless I fork over $40. Great stuff.
