datex Posted June 25, 2003 Report Share Posted June 25, 2003 Running Retrospect Express 5.6.132 on Windows 2000 Professional SP2. Backing up to a CD, the backup copies 4 data sets just fine, but on the 5th, it just stops. It says it starts to copy the volume, but that's it. The next morning the user has to abort to continue operations. The 5th set is backing up a separate hard drive set up with NTFS file security. AmyJ Posted June 26, 2003 Report Share Posted June 26, 2003 I'm not sure I understand your use of the word "set"? Are you using it to refer to a volume (source) or to a backup set (destination)? Are you copying the 5 'set' to a backup set of it's own or to a backup set that is used to backup other volumes successfully? Can you please provide a clearer picture of your configuration?
