GSConsulting Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 We have the problem where the Retrospect screen is unreadable when an unattended script starts executing. Is there a fix to this problem short of upgrading to 6.5? Is it even fixed in 6.5? Thanks! Greg Stewart for the MN Association for the Education of Young Children
AmyJ Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 This problem should be resolved with Retrospect 6.5, which no longer requires changes to the Retrospect Launcher service in order to supply credentials to network volumes. Permissions are now configured within the application itself. Trial editions are available: http://www.dantz.com/products/business.html You should set the Retrospect Launcher service back to log on as the Local System account before using 6.5. With Retrospect 5.6 and Windows XP, you'll need to change the Retrospect Launcher service back to Local System account to avoid screen changes.
