WardClark Posted March 4, 2003 Report Share Posted March 4, 2003 My beginning-of-the-month full backup to DAT DDS-3, which started about midnight, is still underway and should complete late this afternoon. I was disappointed to discover that I can't open the empty optical drive on my G4/867. When I push the open button on my keyboard, the momentary big graphic button appears on my main monitor, but the optical tray does not open. Having previous problems with an audio CD blocking my overnight backup (see "Complaint - overzealous warning messages"), I suspect that Retrospect has grabbed my optical drive just in case it's needed (although my Backup Set is a sequence of DAT tapes). -- Ward Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
