farmer
I have retrospect running on a computer that I am going to have to do a reinstall on. I would like to make a copy of the "preferences" or a data file that contains info regarding backup sets, scripts, selectors, etc. I don't want to have to recreate them. Anyone know where this data resides? Thanx in advance

farmer
So if I copy them I can just overwrite them after the install and I'll be exactly where I left off? Thanx for the replies
AmyJ
Yes. Make sure you also copy over your catalog files. You will need to edit any scripts that were previously backing up the local hard drive(s). Retrospect will not automatically add the hard drives on your new computer to your script, nor will it automatically remove the old local hard drive(s). Your User's Guide also outlines instructions for moving Retrospect - see the index for Moving Retrospect to another computer.
