Retro Client vs. Adding Network Volume

We're using the Server Edition of Retrospect 5.6 for Windows. Having just added a new Win2K Server to our network I installed the Retrospect Client to it. Then when I was in Retrospect I added it as a client but I also saw that I could access the new server by using the "Adding Network Volume" feature.

Should I be using a Retrospect Client on the Win2K Server or should I just add it from the network using the "Adding Network Volume" feature? Is there any reason I should be using one method over the other?

Absolutely! Retrospect cannot back up the registry, NTFS permissions or any system state information via Windows Network. For proper backup of the server, you must use the Client.
