sandman Posted October 13, 2002 Report Share Posted October 13, 2002 After formating a tape with the 8500c format, the drive does not seem to be in compression mode. I can verify this with the Exabyte Expert tools, that says the drive is in 8500 density mode. retrospect 5.6 does not seem to correctly set the density code on the drive. Any help?
