Malcolm McLeary
I've read the announcement for Retrospect for Windows v6.0 but it doesn't mention specifically what clients it supports. Does it support any new clients (i.e. apart from MacOS 9 and Windows)?
Malcolm McLeary
I should have performed a forum search before I asked the question ... On or about the 26 June 2002, Robin Mayoff wrote; (1) Upgrade pricing has not yet been announced. The specifics will be available on our website as we approach the release. (2) Users who upgrade will not need to purchase disaster recovery as an add-on. (3) Yes, 6.0 will back up Mac OS X Clients. (4) Yes, 6.0 will add support for some linux flavors. Details will come in a future announcement. Can this be considered an "official" acknowledgement that a Linux Client exists? A beta version has been running fine on my Sun Cobalt Qube3 for quite some time. ;-)
