Desktop fails on compare using supported Hardware

Recommended Posts

I am having problems backing up to a CD/RW - where the backup appears to work fine, but will fail on verification with a -100 error.

The device (CD/RW - LG CED-8120B) is listed on your website as being supported but I find that it only works for very small backups.

I have exhausted the website support as well as my patience, Please help!

Scenario-

Backup < 100 MB to a CD/R and verify - no problem.

Backup > 300 MB to a CD/R problem arises during the verification phase. Actually the verification occurs at about the same point in the verification. Always about 1/2 way through the first disk the verification will fail. This is regardless of a 500MB backup or an 8GB backup.
