dpvrai Posted March 13, 2004 Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 Retrospect Express 5.x; iMac G4; Panther 10.3.2 Have been backing up to DVD and external HD. Noticed both getting very large and realized that incremental backups over time were consuming my media. Decided to recycle my DVD-RW set. However when I inserts any disk of the set (which now covers 8 DVDs), I get a "media failure" (disk write protected) message. Tried to erase DVD with Disk Utility, but findner doesn't show the DVD when inserted thus I cannot erase it. How can I re-use this media? INcremental backups of of 26 gigs of data now taking over 70 gigs of storage. Help! dt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
