twn
I'm running Retrospect as a server on MacOS X Server 10.4.7 with two ethernet interfaces. Is there any way to tell Retrospect for Mac to use the second interface (the second priority, not connected to internet) for multicast (or subnet broadcasting)? I use the second interface to connect to the local subnet where all the powerbooks are connected, with IP adresses obtained by DHCP...
j.thompson
I am having the same issue. Moving the second interface to top priority kills everything, there must be a way to get this working. If I disable the firewall on the first nic (the one connected to the internet) it works. twn
How do you disabe the firewall for the first nic only? It is not a "final" solution anyhow. I guess Retrospect needs a new feature.
