Chief Technician
I wrote a script that should be recycling a backup set that is being written to the Catalogs folder on my hard drive. When the first recycle backup was supposed to take place, I received an error 211 (media locked), and subsequently the backup did not execute. Any idea as to why the location with a normal backup set would work but the recycle backup would not? I am using Mac OS X Server v10.4.4. Thanks for reading! rhwalker
Some configuration information would be helpful (Retrospect version, RDU, type of backup - tape, file, disk, CD, DVD, etc.).

One happens to have a ".cat" extension, but it should not be considered the same sort of Catalog file as seen in Tape, Removable or Internet backups. It can't be stored in a different location then the data portion of the set. A more specific description of your configuration would be helpful in others understand exactly what you're doing.
