patterson2384 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Share Posted January 19, 2006 We've got a problem here with a user using retro verson 6.0.204, who gets "error -61 writing denied" upon trying to repair a catalog. Unfortunetly I haven't been able to see the machine yet, I was wondering if others might know this code and how to fix it, as the help files here have not really shed any light on it (other than it is probably an OS X issue). CallMeDave Posted January 19, 2006 Report Share Posted January 19, 2006 According to this list of Mac OS Error Codes, it's a File Sytem error being reported by the operating sytem, and then passed on to you by Retrospect: -61 wrPermErr Write permissions error; Not a publisher More specific information about what the user is doing would be necessary to understand what might be going on.
