isis
Computer specs: iMac Flat Screen G4 Mac OS 10.3.9 1.25GB Ram 80GB drive internal Firewire OWC 160GB external drive Retro 6.0.x and latest 6.1.126 Problem: Continually get -53 volume off-line errors when Retro starts up automatically at 3am in the morning to do a duplicate of the internal to the external firewire. iMac is set to only allow sleep of screen and disks. Can run an immediate duplicate and it works. Have tried: 1. Set the disks to not sleep and no difference. 2. Have reformatted disk, restored from backed up volume, then reinstalled 10.3 (archive type) on top and updated back to 10.3.9 with no change in behaviour. Any ideas would be appreciated. I am about to get an advance replacement of the disk as it is under waranty and i have run through everything OWC has asked me to do, and more, before getting a replacement drive. But somehow i keep suspecting that it is Retrospect. Dan
