V5.6 install hangs

I've tried installing Retro Express 5.6 from a CDR which came with the

 

external hard drive I purchased, as well as the downloaded trial

 

version. Both hang at the same point during the installation of the

 

installshield wizard.

I'm running an AMD K6 chip, 512MB RAM, and have plenty of space on my

 

hard drives.

 

 

 

It installed on a Toshiba laptop which has less RAM and disk space

 

without any problem.
