mjt@bryanston Posted November 8, 2004 Report Share Posted November 8, 2004 We are struggling to get Retrospect to backup our home directory volume - it is 165GB and contains the home directories for 1000 users. Retrospect will scan for a couple of hours and get up to around 2 million files then fail with error 'Scanning incomplete, error -108 (not enough memory)' We are running Retrospect on an xServe dual 2 GHz G5 with 4GB ram 10.3.5 backing up to a Sony LIB 162. If we try and split the volume up, Retrospect will unexpectedly quit as soon as we click the sub volume button in the devices/ volume selection window Any ideas...
