Can anyone help me with a "Hardware Error" Prob.?

I have been getting the "Hardware Error" problem and Retrospect will not allow me to eject the tape magazine from the tape drive.

 

 

 

Specs:

 

Compaq TSL-9000 "COMPAQ 12/24 GB DAT 8 AL" tape drive on a Compaq Proliant 1600 Server running NT 4.0 SP6

 

 

 

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

If the magazine is stuck and cannot be ejected through the loader itself, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your autoloader. This is actually a device issue, rather then a software issue.

 

 

 

I know of no way to force the magazine to eject - the Tech Support team for your autoloader are better equiped to answer this question.
