jaypea500
on retrospect 8.5 for windows, when doing a volume duplication, I get errors in the log that say, "File "(path/name of file)": different modify date/time (src: 3/29/2013 12:45:26 AM, dest: 3/29/2013 1:45:28 AM) or "File "(path/name of file)": different creation date/time (src: 3/29/2013 12:45:26 AM, dest: 3/29/2013 1:45:28 AM) (source and destination times above are examples) do I have to be concerned with these errors? does it mean these files were not duplicated? or is the system just doing "fyi" reporting? thanks... ...joe
Scillonian
Could just be a FYI. Are the source and destination set to the same time zone? Has the destination moved to daylight saving time but the source is still on standard time? If the source and destination are on different operating systems then this can generate these warnings because of the way different operating systems handle time offsets.
