TomMxEdit
I was using an older version of Retropect, but am now on version 10.0.1 (105). Back in the old days, under the immediate actions / backup, one could add a new backup to a tape and that backup would be simply recorded as a new snapshot. My scenario is that I am re-archiving old Sonic Solutions and Pro Tools projects onto LTO-5, all from hard drives attached to a local computer to a local LTO-5 SAS machine. What is the analog to that process in Version 10? Do I simply create a new backup script and use the same set for each unique favorite folder (corresponding to a show) until the tape is full? That is the stragegy I would have used in the past. At that point, I would have started a new StorageSet and continued the backups of the scores as snapshots onto the new tape. Thanks in advance. I know I'm mixing up the vocabulary between the old and the new versions of the software; I'm hoping this should be quite simple to accomplish.
