Error -1002 while restoring

Running Retrospect 10, unsuccessfully attempted file restore several times today, received following message:

 

+ Executing Restore Assistant - 11/28/12 10:07 AM at 11/28/12

To volume Macintosh HD...

- 11/28/12 10:10:11 AM: Restoring from HD Backup 2009 OWC09, Snapshot Macintosh HD, 1/30/11 1:08:39 PM

MapError: unknown Mac error 45

TMacFolderLoc::Create: UCreateDirectory failed, /Volumes/Macintosh HD/net/Clients:misc, oserr 45, error -1002

!Trouble writing folder "/Volumes/Macintosh HD/net/Clients/misc", error -1002 ( unknown Mac OS error)

11/28/12 10:10:39 AM: Execution incomplete

Remaining: 186 files, 6 GB

Completed: 0 files, 0 B

Performance: 0 MB/minute

Duration: 00:00:27 (00:00:27 idle/loading/preparing)

 

I tried at least a half dozen times with no success. I'm very concerned. Can anyone help?

The "/Volumes/Macintosh HD/net" folder (usually same as "/net") is used by OS X automounter to mount network volumes. My understanding is that Retrospect normally doesn't (and shouldn't need to) back it up, considering this folder's purpose and usage.
