Trunkmonkey
Retrospect 6.0.178 Update 5.2.101 on Mac OS X 10.3.2. I recently enabled Journaling on all of my disks, and now Retrospect is adding duplicate files to backup sets even after selecting "Don't add duplicates". There's no way I'm going to backup everything all over again, considering I just finished backup up half a terabyte to DVD-R discs! How does Retrospect determine which files have already been backed up, and how do I force it to ignore the files I already know have been backed up? Trunkmonkey
From the Manual: Quote: The Mac OS file matching criteria are name, size, type creator, creation date, and modify date. None of the above things have changed, yet Retrospect is still backing up duplicate files!
Trunkmonkey
And now, 24 hours later, Retrospect is working fine. Argh! I didn't change anything. The files didn't change. The backup catalog didn't change. But now Retrospect is properly matching files!
