jason@eurotech.co.uk
Hi, I have been using server 9.0.2 on osx 7.3 successfully for some time. In the last week, a client 9.0.0 (319) has turned itself off and I can no longer get it to start. The client OS is 10.6.8. When I switch the client to 'on' in system prefs, the menubar item still says off (greyed out) and if I then move to History, Notifications etc in the system pref the switch reverts to off. I have tried installing the later client (9.0.2 I think) but this gives the same effect. I used the uninstall utility each time and restarted. The only process running that uses retro in the name is Retrospect Client which is owned by the user. Any ideas? Thanks
Daniels
I would try the uninstaller again however before reinstalling make sure to remove any preferences files left behind as these may be causing the issue.
jason@eurotech.co.uk
Many thanks. Removing all references from machine library and user library after running the uninstaller seems to have worked. It was under the misaprehension that the uninstaller would have done this.
