twickland Posted April 27, 2012 Report Share Posted April 27, 2012 A couple of times we have had the Edit> Find function fail for Retrospect's operations log. The Find bar will open in the window, but Retrospect insists that there are no matches, no matter what is entered in the search box. The only remedy is to stop the engine, quit the console, and then remove or rename the operations log to force creation of a new log. The most recent failure occurred approximately around the automatic upgrade to Retro 9.0.2 (+/- two days), which is suspicious but obviously not definitive. Because the interval between my uses of the find function is often measured in weeks, pinpointing a possible cause for the previous failures has been impossible. Has anyone else experienced this?
