mturndal
Hi, I have just installed retrospect 9,01 on a mac mini i5 with 4gb of memory and have backup up my Mac pro without any problem I have authorized restore from the retrospect client and i can select the files from the client side when asking for it. When i try to restore a file from the client it is just sitting there and waiting for the restore ? what is it waiting for ? When looking at the process retrospect stops responding for a very long time. Mikael
Maser
When I've tested this, if the media set is in use by another active process, the client has no way of knowing this (and that adds to the delay.) *Usually*, you should see a process start on the engine machine when the restore activity is running. Is that activity not running on the engine when you initiate the client-based restore?
