HairyNeil
Hi, We've had to replace a HDD in a PC, now we wish to restore the data files from disk (external USB HDD). Running restore causes the folder structure to be restored but NOT the files. On both the disks (which are used in rotation) the files can be seen within the interface but will not restore. Each file is flagged with a symbol (it looks a bit like a snowflake) I'm not sure of it's significance but I would like to know it's meaning I've tried repairing the catalog, I've even tried transferring the back up sets none of which seems to make any difference. One of the disks keeps giving the error 'the selected disk does not contain any Backup Set data files'.....but it does and Retrospect can see them ! I've been using Retrospect for a few years on and off and can normally get it to work eventually but this has me stumped. The version we are using is 7.6.123 Hot Fix 7.6.2.101 Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Kind regards Neil
