cybor462 Posted November 9, 2011 Report Share Posted November 9, 2011 I am really having issues. I have used the restore cd have a good os installed and updated. I am trying to use restore and when I click on destination drive to restore to it says not available. I then choose an alternate which is the exact same name HP_PAVILION (C:) and it will restore. BUT it writes a second boot item in the log and will not bootup after the restore and then tries to boot up. When I go look at bootcfg it shows 2 entries. I think it is writing the log to the small partition that XP uses for restore. How do I get this fixed? Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
