Guest Steve Maser
Are you also running Time Machine? That is known to have incompatibilities with Retro 8.x (not sure about Retro 9.x). If you recently bought 8.2, you should qualify for a free upgrade to 9 and could try that to see if it resolves that problem. Otherwise, I might suggest leaving the console open and seeing if you can identify what actions occurred just prior to the crashes and see if it's something you can reproduce. The Backups are going to an external dive VIA firewire.

j.armstrong
What about the Time Machine question? Sorry Steve, no I am not running time machine. Trying to attach a file of today's console log. Hopefully someone can supply an answer to what is going on. Thanks, John
