eric.cis Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Mac OSX 10.7.2 - French Version ( Might not be the same on an English version ) If you ever upgrade from Restropect 6.xx to 9.xx, and wanted to revert back to 6.xx do the following. Run the Uninstaller from the Retrospect 9.xx Client Then delete the file /library/Preferences/retroclient.state Re-install the Retrospect 6.xx client Your done. Note : The file /library/Preferences/retroclient.state is NOT deleted by the unstaller of v9.xx and prevents Retrospect 6.xx from launching ( You get an error message ) Might be helpful to somebody. It's the same in the English version. Several flaky things to look out for (probably used to in Retro 8)... deletion of components- Retro Pref Panel, pref file above, install of Client in a Firewall situation. You know...
