pctechtv Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 Retrospect 7 is creating invalid Snapshots that it later uses to restore wrong data. What it is actually doing is finding duplicate files that were not selected for backup and and them via there location to the backup. I have never had this issue with the program before. Here is a video of what is going on. View The first time I sent information about this error I just got general responses and direction to kb articles about file selections. I am trying to find out if this is only happening to me. If so I will be surprised because I have experienced it on different computers and different OS's I had tried on Windows XP to see if that had some thing to do with it, but it did exactly the same thing.
