tslarkin Posted May 10, 2011 Report Share Posted May 10, 2011 The startup disk of some Mac clients (6.3.029) appears twice in the Volumes tab of the client properties using Single Server 7.7.533. This is not just a cosmetic problem. Proactive Backup treats these entries as distinct volumes, and scans and backs them up separately. (Obviously the second backup usually doesn't have much to do.) This occurs on many, but not all, Mac clients. I've tried forgetting and re-adding the clients. Immediately after re-adding, the ghost volume disappears, but eventually it shows up again. This issue doesn't have much affect on the backup storage, but it does have a significant impact on overall Proactive performance, since the scans are duplicated. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
