legalnan
I back up my C drive each night. I'd like to set it up in Retrospect so that the most recent 14 backups remain on my maxtor one touch and the earlier ones are automatically deleted. Is that possible? Thank you. michaeln
Hi, What version of Retrospect are you using? This is possible if you are using the full version of Retrospect. Unfortunately, Retrospect ExpressHD that comes with the Maxtor OneTouch does not have this option. Using the full version of Retrospect, you can go to Configure > Backup Sets > select the Disk Backup Set you are using > click Properties > choose Option tab > check the box that says "Groom to remove backups older than X". Retrospect will only run the grooming process when there is no disk space available. You can however setup a groom script to run however often you like to manually groom out older sets. legalnan
I do have Retrospect Express. I have been deleting old backup sets manually If that's okay to do, I'll continue doing so in the future. Thanks very much for the response.
