Send successful/failed events to windows event logs

I am trying to capture the successful/failed backups for a client that is using Retrospect 7.0.301 to build a custom report of their backups along with several other things. I'm currently working with the windows event logs and it would make my life so much easier if I could figure out how to send successful/failed backup events from Retrospect to the window event logs.

 

Any ideas?
