clio11 Posted July 25, 2006 Report Share Posted July 25, 2006 I want to back-up everything on an old computer and then put it all on a new computer. I am using Retrospect Dantz Express 6.5 and a Maxtor Dual External HD. At this moment the data is being copied from the old computer. This seems to be going successfully. What do I need to know about adding the backed up material to the new computer? Are there any problems or methods that I should be aware of? Since I am very new to all this thanks in advance for your help. (I did try to find answers to these questions that had already been posted, but was not able to find them.)
