ADIC VLS 8MM (AIT-1) not autoloading tapes in Retrospect 5.15

I'm running Retrospect 5.15 with an ADIC VLS 8MM AIT-1 library. Everything works well, however when I try to run a backup, Retrospect will not grab the next erased tape. Part of the problem I would guess is that in the library the tapes dont show up as "Untitled" but "(Erased)". I realy need unattended backups to work, anyone have any ideas?
