guccinikes Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 When i try to open them, it goes back to the previous screen, which gives the option of backing up or restore - and includes total number of restore points....i can view the log information for all the files so i know the data is there....is there any way to access data - maybe through My Computer where the blue disks are? David777 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Share Posted June 12, 2006 Hello Mike. Assuming you are using express HD. You could have some corrupted data/restore points or catalog file. To rebuild your catalog file, completely exit HD, open the retrospect restore points folder on your external drive and delete the .rbc file(catalog file), restart your computer, then Hd will start to rebuild the catalog file which can take a couple of hours.
