error - assertion failure at tbuffer.cpp -373

Whenever I plug in the Maxtor cable (Maxtor 1-touch) using Dantz 1.0.196 I receive this error. The Dantz system is "reclaiming disk space", but it never finishes and I can not start a backup, restore or do anything else. The error just continues to pop up every couple of minutes. My operating system is Win XP Pro SP2. The software worked fine until I attempted to reclaim disk space. I currently have 8 restore points.

 

Any thoughts?

Hello David.

 

I recommend that you download the update to HD 1.1.127, which should fix this issue.
