ehalbe Posted May 26, 2002 Report Share Posted May 26, 2002 I am using Retrospect 5.6 for workgroups on a Windows 98 machine. Clients are installed on my Mac Workstations. When I do a duplicate of the Macs onto the harddrive of my backup server I get file transfer rates in the neighborhood of 150MB/sec. When I use backup server to backup my Macs to a file set on my backup server harddrive my transfer rates are much slower, around 40MB/sec. Am I doing something wrong?
