jch Posted March 7, 2006 Report Share Posted March 7, 2006 I looked in the "List of Supported Devices" but there are no BenQ burners listed. Looking in Retrospect Pro v6.5's Devices tab, I see that my BenQ DW1655 burner (which is installed in an external USB enclosure) appears under the name "BENQ DVD LS DW1655". I tried making a Custom Configuration, but the transfer speed was only 40 MB/minute versus the 200+ MB/minute that I get with my old Pioneer DVR-108 burner (which *is* in the List of Supported Devices). Are Custom Configurations usually this much slower than "native" configurations? Is there anything I can do to speed it up? The burner itself is much much faster with other programs (16x vs. 4x) I'd really like to switch to this new burner. Thanks! .../j Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
