kcepf Posted February 13, 2002 Report Share Posted February 13, 2002 I have an automated script that worked without incident the first two weeks of use. Now, in order to get the backup to run, I am forced to erase the tapes manually each morning. The script is set to overwrite each tape and the minimal erase confirmation is configured. If I leave the tape in the drive without erasing it, the backup fails, and there's not notation in the log as to why. If I manually erase the tape, the backup runs without incident. Any ideas?
