mwitthoft Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 I can launch retrospect HD from task bar and I get the one black window with very few options. All I can do is choose automatic backup or not, comprehensive or duplicate. No other choices. Or, if I double click a RestorePoint*.rbc file on my backup drive I get a completely different program, navigation pane at left, dialog box at right for backup/restore/automate/tools/configure . . lots of chatter about scripts and devices and backup sets. Both programs call themselves Retrospect Express. Something tells me neither one knows about the other, and a script configured in one will be ignored by the other, etc ... What is going on?
