Guest
Created new backup script. Do I need to leave Retrospect ópen'so that scripts run at schedule times or can I close program and Retrospect will automatically run scripts as scheduled? It appears that when program is closed that scheduled sripts are not running. Thanking you in advance for your help!
awnews
It will launch and run automatically as long as the machine is turned on (don't even have to be logged in under W2K/XP). Pull up the Preferences tab and you'll see a "Startup" item where you can enable (if it's not already turned on) the "Automatically launch Retrospect" option as well as tell it what to do when it's done running the script (I set it to Exit). You should also set the (Schedule) look ahead time (determines if it waits to quit if another script is scheduled in that period) and the (Security) "Always run Retrospect as the specified in user" option [admin-level user & password and name of domain or workgroup PC].
