szaklow
Every time I try to create a disaster recovery image file on my Dell 8500 laptop, after about an hour of 'selecting files' 'I get the same error message: File "IMAGEHLP.DLL": can't read, error -1127 (data error detected in file using cyclic redundancy check) Trouble writing files, error -1127 (data error detected in file using cyclic redundancy check) The WinXP Pro CD that I have is SP!; the computer has SP2 on it. Does that mean anything? How do I get past this?
szaklow
I think that I got it fixed. I seem to have had a defect on my Windows CD. It worked fine with a different WinXP Pro CD that I had.
