Borth Posted May 7, 2002 Report Share Posted May 7, 2002 I am operating a G4D-533 with an APS SCSI (Sony) SDT-9000 with Retrospect 5.0.205 on a OS 10.1.4 partition and OS 9.2.2 and Retrospect 4.3 (Drivers 2.5.101) on another partition. A previous issue where Retro 5.0 could not see the tape drive was resolved by a firmware (v. 0601) update. However, I have a problem on both partitions where the Sony tape drive goes to "sleep" during a backup execution, resulting in the loss of SCSI contact and abort of the backup. The Dantz driver is v. 4.08. Has anyone else experienced a "sleep" issue with the Sony SDT-9000 drive? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
