tosser Posted May 7, 2005 Report Share Posted May 7, 2005 I have a Maxor one touch and Retrospect 6.0 and I use windows XP. I had did a backup of my c: drive that stored the files compressed in .rdb file format. Because I had to reinstall windows I lost the backup set catalog, so I rebuilt the backup set catalog file from the .rdb files that was on the Maxtor drive. I now want to get my files off the maxtor. How do I do that? I looked at the tutorials and I did not see one that told me how to do it without using a snapshot. My rebuilt backup set catalog has no snapshots, what can I do? michaeln Posted May 8, 2005 Report Share Posted May 8, 2005 Hi, If you did a successful recatalog, you can do a Find Files restore by going to Restore > Find Files > selecting a destination > leave the search criteria blank > and click Files Chosen to see all of the files you backed up.
